Dawn Powell-Londono
Dawn Powell-Londono earned her Masters of Chinese Medicine from Atlantic University of Chinese Medicine in Asheville, NC in 2005. Since then she worked for Lutheran Hospital (now Intermountain Hospital) in many different capacities as an acupuncturist. Working with patients in the hospital and in the addiction recovery unit, oncology, pain and stress management were some of her concentrations for the 17 years she worked for the hospital. She also worked at the Lutheran Spine Center to help patients with chronic spinal issues.
She earned her Doctorate of Acupuncture from Five Branches University in 2022. She is working on a certification in Orthopedic Acupuncture with Anthony Von der Muhll, L.Ac., DAOM, DNBAO.
Dawn is an expert in Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, and electrostimulation. Known for personalized patient care, specializing in pain management, orthopedics, dry needling, oncology support, and stress reduction. She is committed to ongoing learning and integration of cutting-edge practices for holistic wellness. She is passionate about empowering individuals to achieve optimal health and vitality. She is also interested in how to help patients dealing with neurodiversity challenges with acupuncture.
She spends her free time kiteboarding, hiking, running and spending time with her husband and her dog. “Ask me about my dog if you want to lose a few hours of your day.”
