Say Hello to
Christina Jimenez
As a graduate from Heritage College after receiving an Associate’s Degree in Occupational Studies in Therapeutic Massage in July 2013. I have been trained in many modalities and techniques including, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Sports massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Prenatal massage, Swedish, Medical massage, Sports Injury massage. I am also certified in TMJ and Intra-Oral Massage Therapy for those suffering from clenching, grinding, migraines, and chronic face and neck pain. My passion for massage was discovered while helping my mother with Scoliosis, Nerve Damage, and pain management. Now my mission is to help each client with pain and discomfort. I have been using essential oils and studying them for the last two years. I recently have been using cold stones to help heal injuries, TMJ, sinus pressure, and migraines along with certain essential oils.
What is your “why”? Why do you do what you do and how does that impact your work?
My work is the best Inspiration of life knowing I get the opportunity to meet and help so many patients. Whether they have Chronic pain, Destress, Scar tissue release, or just needing to have a nice relaxing session. I love that I can Help clients learn more about what they can do at home before their next session. But the biggest part of everything is my clients always bring me to learn more about their condition so I can help them more.
If you could snap your fingers and be anywhere in the world right now, where would that be?
The world is an amazing place to learn from along with all the cultures. The background of many people you meet along the way. I don’t have a specific place that I would like to be in the world or visit because everywhere is great! I do know spiritually we are connected to the whole Earth you just have to understand how you are.
Favorite thing to do in your free time?
My granddaughter is my favorite time out of my day just spending time with her. I also love to connect to the outdoors just enjoy everything mother nature bring us in every season of the year.
One piece of advice you give to ALL patients [clients].
Treatment plans for clients, knowing there are other treatments that can help with massage. That would make their lives so much better to understand from 2 or 3 different treatments along with massage to help with any condition they are in. I do believe massage, Acupuncture, Chiropractor or even Functional Medicine along with multiple treatments can manage different conditions any client has. Now if you want to destress having a facial along with a massage it the best way to let all the stress melt away.
